Here is our list so far; we’ll update as we get wind of more markets. QED’s Holiday Bazaar Saturday, November 26 1-6pm Q.E.D., 27-16 23rd Avenue We’ll be launching holiday shopping season with locally-crafted gifts from 25 of the neighborhood’s foremost creative makers. Expect to come across one-of-a-kind ceramics, hand-made jewelry, imaginatively designed greeting cards, eye-catching art and super delicious treats. Inventive holiday drink specials will also be available from QED’s bar. This will take place on SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY! So be sure to #ShopSmall at QED! QED will be featuring lots of great drink specials for this event such as $5 draught beer, wine & mimosas! Singlecut Beer Flea Holiday Market Saturday-Sunday, December 3-4 Daytime hours, starting at noon Singlecut Beersmiths, 19-33 37th Street Astoria Market Holiday Market Sunday, December 4, 11, and 18 12-6pm Main Hall at Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden 29-19 24th Avenue At all 3 events, there will be a full house of fantastic vendors, where you’ll find art, jewelry, toys, chocolates, body care, handbags, clothing, stationery, scarves and hats, pottery, and more! Bohemian Hall will offer their scrumptious “Grandmas Kitchen” menu – which includes a variety of homemade soups, assorted pork and sausage platters, and homemade apple strudel. There will also be eggnog, chestnuts, hot apple cider, and other holiday favorites on the menu. The Sweet Afton Holiday Market Sunday, December 18 12-5pm Sweet Afton, 30-09 34th Street Stop by Sweet Afton for their annual Holiday/Winter Market, featuring local artists and vendors. There’s a raffle, too, and proceeds from that will go to support Concern Worldwide.
