Something For Everyone at The Shady Lady Every Night is Taco Night at Chela & Garnacha Tired of nonstop election negativity? Brooklyn Boulders is about to make voting just a little more fun. Our local rock-climbing gym has teamed up with the non-partisan organization Rock the Vote to motivate non-registered voters to sign up before the upcoming November elections. You’re invited to stop by their Long Island City location on Tuesday, September 27 to fill out your voter registration in the simplest and most enjoyable way possible — with a day of climbing, chilling out, and enjoying music from local DJs like Tommie Sunshine, DJ She’s Maad, and others. (If you’d like to visit their Brooklyn location instead, the event is taking place on September 29.) Admission is free, but space is extremely limited, so be sure to RSVP on their event page below for your preferred location. As a special bonus: if you check in on Facebook with the hashtags #rockingthevote or #bkblove, they’ll provide the gear to climb completely free! To RSVP and learn more, check out the official event page here. Let’s “rock” the vote, Astoria!
