As a culinary professional and Astoria resident – I would love to attend this prestigious James Beard Foundation event to check out and support fellow Queens talent. As a pregnant soon-to-be mom who recently left her kitchen job to go on maternity leave – I would love to attend to devour all the delicious food!!

Paige Popdan

I would love to attend the 2nd Annual Queens Cooks celebration! It combines two of my favorite things; delicious food prepared by TOP CHEFS and Queens!

Faith Bianchi

I would love to win the tickets because I love Queens and I love delicious food. I have two toddlers and it’s rare that I can getaway to enjoy it!

Charles Harkins

I am thrilled to attend events such as this one. I like the lineup of chefs that have been assembled.

Ooh, this seems like a lot of fun, and a great way to try out new food from around my favorite neighborhood.

I would LOVE to win the tickets, not only to taste the amazing food that our borough has to offer, but then to pass it forward and head to their restaurants, and give them business!

Christina Rohe

JBF dinners are prestigious events attended by the elitest of elite foodies in NYC. I’ve had my eye on trying to find a JBF dinner that I was passionate about. Being a Queens enthusiast, I would love to win these tickets to see what Queens greats bring to the Manhattan spotlight!

The thing I loved most when I moved to Astoria was the food scene!!! My friends and I love going out to eat – this sounds awesome!

Kris Hamilton

Honestly, I would love to surprise my wife with a special date-night away from our 17 month old boy – who is awesome – but could give his momma a much needed break! She’s a ‘foodie’ and would jump out of her skin if we could attend this event together. Thank you for considering us!

Whoah! This is amazing! I’m an Astoria resident who loves food and trying all the new restaurants in the neighborhood. Definitely excited to enter this giveaway! Thanks!

This event sounds like a great way to find out more about great chefs and cuisine in Queens. There are so many hidden gems across this big borough!

This would be a dream come true, I’m a recent transplant to Astoria, an amateur cook, lover of food and of food literature. When I read I was transported back to the world in Ruth Reichl’s Delicious. I would love to be in that world, if only just for an evening.

I think my friends, family, & coworkers are sick of hearing me talk about food in Astoria!

Kadie Black

Hubby and I are in desperate need of a night out on the town. What better way then to celebrate all things culinary in our very own hood? I really hope we win!!!

It’s so amazing to see the JBF celebrating Queens!! Would be amazing to get to check it out!

Elizabeth OBrien

I love food! Love to experience new places especially in Queens. I have been to James Beard many times. Nice to see queens places show their food!

It’s awesome to see Queens get a night at the James Beard house! It’d be great to try food from some of my favorites and from chefs I’ve never had before too! (And the atomosphere of the James Beard house can’t be beat!)

Dave Olverson

Thanks so much for this great sweepstakes! I just moved to Astoria and have instantly fallen for the community, the food, and the energy here (I should have moved from Manhattan YEARS ago). My wife and I have been exploring the neighborhood (this past Saturday we walked around Astoria Park, went bowling at Astoria Bowl, and capped it off with dinner at Pachanga Patterson).

In addition, September 18th is my birthday!

Cynthia Hannon

Astoria is my pride and joy. I absolutely love living there but what I love more is bragging about how amazing the food scene is there. It’s truly incredible and there should be more nights like these celebrating that achievement.

I’ve always wanted to eat at the James Beard House and what a fantastic way to enjoy it while repping the hood!

Cooking and food is a relatively new passion of mine. I’d love to experience this and submerse myself in the culinary identity of this city!

As a food blogger who loves to drum up publicity for anything queens, I would love to attend this and feature it on our website!
