Get Thee to the First Ever Crafts Bazaar at QED Word is that the recent QED Crafts Bazaar was a huge success, so QED is back at it again with another—the QED Holiday Bazaar! It’s happening Saturday, November 26 (the Saturday after Thanksgiving—which also is the date of Small Business Saturday) from 1-6pm, and will feature the work of creative crafters, artists, makers, and bakers. But right now it’s time for interested vendors to apply to participate. Here’s more info from QED: We’ll be launching holiday shopping season with locally-crafted gifts from the neighborhood’s foremost creative makers. Expect to come across one-of-a-kind ceramics, hand-made jewelry, imaginatively designed greeting cards, eye-catching art and super delicious treats. Inventive holiday drink specials will also be available from QED’s bar. You will be able to choose from 2 space-sizes: “Big” 6 X 4 ft. space – ($50) – includes table and one stool. Table sizes vary from around 2×2 ft to 2×4 ft. “Small” 4X4 ft. space ($35) – Includes table and one stool. Table sizes vary from around 2×2 ft to 2×4 ft. If you are accepted, you will be sent a Paypal request depending on which size table you have indicated that you need. Your spot is only confirmed after payment is received. All applications will be reviewed, and they will do their best choose vendors that complement each other—that doesn’t mean they will all be the same, but the goal is to have a fun, diverse market for the Astoria community.
