It’s almost time the 4th annual Sunnyside Restaurant Week, which begins on Monday, September 19th and wraps up on Sunday, September 25th. You’ve got an entire week to sample international cuisine from 30 restaurants.  Each restaurant will serve a three-course dinner menu for $25 with many establishments offering additional lunch specials, and a few offering the $25 dinner menu for two people. All you foodie fans have a dizzying selection of diverse and delicious cuisines from which to choose. On the menu: Italian, Japanese, Peruvian, Mexican, Irish, Thai, Colombian, Tibetan, French, Seasonal American, and more.  Participating restaurants include newcomers to the Sunnyside culinary scene (The Lowery Bar and Kitchen, Thai Diva Cuisine, Boon by Moldova Restaurant) as well as the neighborhood’s two restaurants recognized as Michelin “Bib Gourmands” (Venturo and Salt and Fat). Check out the graphic at the bottom of the post for a full list of all participating restaurants.

riko-peruvian-cuisine_2This year Sunnyside Restaurant Week is adding a fun little contest to the mix. Each time a customer orders the Restaurant Week deal at a participating restaurant, they will receive a sticker on their Restaurant Week card. If you collect just three stickers turn your card in to any participating restaurant and be entered to win dinner for four to a participating restaurant of your choice (a $250 gift certificate).  Cards are available at all participating restaurants.
