Good news, Astoria…we’re hiring!

We’re looking for one awesome Head Writer to join our Astoria based team. More about what we’re looking for:

+ A responsible self-starter who can publish 5+ articles a week on Western Queens related content. The right candidate should be able to produce story ideas on their own, but also work with potential leads given to them from WHA editors.

+ The ability to work on a tight deadline is key. Some flexibility with your schedule is preferred, but not required.

+ Someone with an engaging social media voice, who’s eager to connect with their Astoria community. The Head Writer will be responsible for producing content for multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.
