Last week there was a quite a stir when the above scrawled signage was spied over on Broadway between 29th and Crescent in the former Oyster Cafe of New York location. We’ve got the scoop on this new venture from Vite Vinosteria.
Vite Bar will open next month and according to the owners, will reflect the tastes and flavors of Vite with a small twist. At Vite Bar expect to find a curated wine list, craft cocktails, select beers on tap, and local bottled beer.
While you sip a tall glass of wine (or beer, or cocktail) you’ll be munching on Italian tapas. Small plates of salads, charcuterie, meatballs, and other bite-sized Vite favorites.

Also expect to see expertly marinated eggplant and octopus. No question the Baccala Mantecato (pictured above) will be on the menu. Once they get up and running, they’ll also open for lunch. (panini anyone?)

We are great fans of Vite since moving to LIC. The food is consistently enjoyable and so are the owners and staff. Looking forward to the new bar!
