We’re in that post-Halloween candy/pre-Thanksgiving feast zone, where treats of all kinds seem to be everywhere. Let’s be honest: we’re going to indulge, why not do so guilt-free by getting in some solid workouts?

If you’re looking for a new place to get your workout on, look no further than Live Fit, a new fitness studio on Ditmars. Their small classes are designed to feel more like personal training sessions, with proper attention being paid to each student. Their four main classes include:

 -Live Fit Strong (Boot Camp)

This is the class to whip you into shape after too many Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. This total body workout combines strength training with fat-burning cardio to create a full-body workout that burns 500 to 700 calories in one hour. Yes, it’s intense, but imagine how great you’ll feel when you’re done!

-Live Fit Pilates

For a more zen workout, try pilates. The focus here is to engage both and mind and body to achieve the highest level of performance. The movements in this class will combine gravity, body weight and resistance to condition and strengthen your muscles.

-Live Fit Suspension

This class is one of the most intriguing, as it promises to build overall strength, balance, and flexibility while also promising a rocking cardio workout. The series of stretches and poses provide the opportunity to open muscles and connective tissue in the arms, legs, core, back, shoulders and neck. After a week of being hunched over a computer at your desk, this might be just the solution.

-Live Fit Blast (HIIT)

This 30-minute class is designed to give you a killer full-body workout, fast. You can expect a warm-up period, many repetitions of high-intensity exercise paired with medium-intensity exercise (to give your body a quick moment to recover), followed by a cool down period. This type of workout gets your heart pumping to burns more fat in less time.
