APAC wants your stories! They’ve put out a call for submissions for Astoria Stories to celebrate their 15th season. Here’s more info:

To celebrate our 15th season, APAC is proud to introduce ASTORIA STORIES. A festival of short plays and musicals, this multi-artist event will feature the work of Queens-based writers who will be paired with Astoria sites to create new, short theater pieces. Presented as single evening over six performances and performed by an ensemble of actors, ASTORIA STORIES will pay homage to and teach our audiences about the area of New York City that APAC calls home.

For ASTORIA STORIES, 8 writers (or writing teams) will be selected to write 10-minute plays and musicals, to be workshopped, rehearsed, and presented as a single cohesive evening. The production will be presented for 6 performances on dates TBD between February 17th-29th, 2016.

The full submission guidelines can be found here.

DEADLINE: Tuesday December 1st. Email all application materials as a single PDF file, as well as mp3s or website links (if applicable) to literary@apacny.org.

Good luck!
