Today I had the good fortune to find It’s Organic on 31st Avenue open after my regular Wednesday training session. I spoke to owners Lukman and Hassan, both were warm, welcoming, and passionate about serving organic products to their community. In fact, you might recognize them from their bodega on the corner of 31st Ave. and Crescent Street, which they mentioned they’ve been running for years.
This week only they’re offering 20% off during their grand opening celebration. Might be a good time to wander over and check them out, no?
Expect organic juices, smoothies, salads, and wraps (coming soon) as well as your standard “healthy” pick-me-ups like kombucha, protein bars, coconut water and the like. I customized their Astoria smoothie and definitely will be back for some of their other creations. You can see their full menu here.
In addition I was thrilled to find vegan baked goods and plenty of veg and vegan friendly fare (including a wide variety of powers and mix ins.)
