This recent arrival is a well loved staple in their native Jackson Heights, and they’ve recently expanded in to our neighborhood- lucky for us! For those who can’t wait to find out if they’ve won, you can stop into La Gloria for plantain laced dishes like mofongo and ropa vieja, plus other Dominican and Cuban inspired fare. We hear they’re super proud of their coffee (from Irving Farm Roasters), so be sure to add that to your order. a Rafflecopter giveaway La Gloria Astoria (25-89 Steinway St., Astoria | 718.204.4883) Instagram | Facebook | Website This post was sponsored by La Gloria, a family run business. The menu is limited to the items above presently. There is no alcohol yet. But the comestibles are delicious just as at the Jackson Heights original. We have to show our support so that the menu is expanded and a full bar is established. Reply Tim McGeever November 2nd, 2015 Something’s got me eyeing the calamari. Need to get involved ASAP.
