Watawa is my personal favorite sushi place around hands down. I love how fresh the fish tastes whether cooked or raw.

Truva Cafe may not look all that exciting on the outside, but they have a lovely patio in the back. The mixed appetizers platter is great way to start off a meal with friends.

Definitely go for the lamb lollies. They’re perfectly tender and come served on top of caramelized pumpkin.

Trattoria L’Incontro is a go-to place if you’re dining in the Ditmars area. The Mezza Luna is a ravioli plate that I could dream about for days.

Get the tacos! They aren’t called the King of Tacos for no reason.

Sandro’s is a cozy little spot with some of the biggest and comfiest food around. I can’t stop myself from getting the Pechuga Empanizada, but everything here hits the spot. Stock up on a round of beers and let loose!

There are a ton of Greek restaurants in the Ditmars area—too many to name just one—such as Taverna Kyclades, MP Taverna, Gregory’s on 26th, Telly’s Taverna, etc. That’s just to name a few. All of these restaurants are boasting amazing ratings. So next time you’re feeling Greek, draw a wildcard out of a hat for a fun surprise.
