Bonchon has got you covered. Adding to the already diverse array of food options on Broadway, Bonchon, a Korean-fusion chain known for its fried chicken, has recently opened its doors. In addition to their signature dishes like bibimbap, chicken wings, and Korean fried chicken, the Astoria outpost will also aim to create an energetic nightlife atmosphere, crafting exotic cocktails and offering multiple options of flavor-infused soju. (Don’t know what soju is? Neither did I! It’s a Korean liquor, similar to vodka and known for its high potency.) Bonchon will be open until 2am on weekends to encourage late-night snacking among Astoria’s night owls. They will also feature takeout, delivery, and catering. I About a month ago I tried to call and pick up. Their phone didn’t work then and the waitress didn’t know when it will be working (?) Hope that issue is solved by now. The service was good even though I was just ordering out. I have to say though, Mad for chicken in the city and flushing have better KFC. Bonchon in Astoria would be good for last minute craving but if I want super good KFC, I’d go for Mad for Chicken any day. Reply LindsayG May 13th, 2015 Thanks for the heads up, Oscar! I did a little extra detective work, and while they have not introduced delivery yet, but ARE planning on getting it rolling in the future. We will make an announcement when they do! Reply Oscar May 12th, 2015 I was there saturday. They told me they didnt do delivery yet and were not sure if they would at all. Has something changed?
