Over the months we’ve been telling you about a new spot opening up from the folks that brought Astoria The Sparrow Tavern and Mar’s, but have been unable to refer to it by its name. Now, we’ve learned that the owners have chosen a name: The Letlove Inn. Apparently, it was inspired by the Nick Cave song, I Let Love In.

We still don’t know much about what will be served there, but we can hazard a guess that it will be delicious. They hope to be open by Thanksgiving.

Their online presence at this writing is an Instagram account, @theletloveinn, a Twitter account, also @theletloveinn, and a website with nothing on it, yet.

Hope it’s a straight up bar without food. One thing we lack in Astoria is Dive bars where you go to meet new people or hang out with friends. Not to sit down and chow. Us single folk are always forced to go to Manhattan to cruise geez
