I walked over there to take a photo, anticipating at least a name of the new spot, but there is no signage or anything up indicating what’s happening, aside from the papered up windows. No indications of changes via the Department of Buildings, but we’ll keep an eye on it. If you know any additional details, please send them our way! As an aside, perhaps crepes are the new thing for Astoria? Our tipster got us thinking about that (H/T Adam N). Currently there are a few places that make crepes in town, but it’s definitely a sleeper dish, all things considered. We are particularly fond of the sugar and lemon crepe at Cafe Triskell. How about you—are you a fan of crepes? Would you welcome a new crepe spot on Ditmars? Leave us a comment or a tweet with your thoughts!
