Tuesday, September 9 is the day of the next big election—the NY State/Local Primary. Good thing Gotham Gazette and WNYC have put together this handy dandy Election Guide.

In this Guide you’ll be able to get info and positions on the candidates for Governor (yes, Jimmy McMillan is running again, and yes, the rent continues to be too damn high), Lt. Governor (big drama surrounding Tim Wu), Attorney General, and Comptroller (I always think of The Simpsons when I see the word “comptroller”). State Senate races are active but not for District 12 (Astoria).

And if you’re unclear as to where you vote, this poll site locator will help you figure it out.

So tell us, Astoria—are you excited about this election? Feeling ho-hum about it? We’d love to know your thoughts—leave us a comment or a tweet!
