Did you happen to catch a recent episode of $9.99 that took place in Astoria? It’s very interesting! They visited MOMI, Socrates Sculpture Park (the awesome Queens Mother of Reality and Scarecrow installations are shown), Capo Auction House, BIG!NYC, BZ Grill (we learned that “gyro” means “something that turns”), Queens Beauty Parlor (home to affordable henna tattoo art), and Singlecut Beersmiths. This is definitely worth a watch!
