Like many of you, we’ve been curious to know what is up with the old Euro Delights space at 32-02 Broadway. A recent city document indicates a pizza joint; originally we were told by one of the workers that it was going to be either an Indian or Italian restaurant. I guess we know it’s Italian.

Additional sources confirm the pizza detail but no one will say what kind of pizza exactly. The contractor for this job has been involved in the past with installing a light box with the wording… “Papa John’s”—this is not confirming a Papa John’s is coming to Broadway, though, it’s just a curious coincidence.

The renovations, according to the DOB, are costing a good chunk of change and include creating a new storefront, installing new kitchen equipment, and totally recreating the interior, which is currently gutted. Another big job is relocating a stairway to the cellar.

We’ll keep an eye on it and see if we can find out more details on the kind of pizza. (And if it’s going to be a Papa Johns!)

Apparently, it will be called P.S. Pizza. There are two metal signs ( looks like lightbulbs will light up the “P.S.”) currently sitting on the sidewalk ready to be installed.

Yeah sure hope it stays open past midnight. No pizzerias by the Broadway N line that I know of that stay open late. Hope they sell slices and not just pies.
