We came across a couple of fun specials we thought you should know about—one is a singular event, and the other is a repeating event.

First, the singular event, spelled “FREE COFFEE.” Yes, it’s true! Caffino is running a special this Thursday, June 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. They’ll be offering you a free cup of single origin drip coffee. Who doesn’t love free coffee, especially when it’s as good as it is at Caffino?

The second offer is from the intermittently mysterious Francis Cafe, which for a time didn’t seem open except for odd hours. They seem to have gotten into more of a rhythm and are offering a tasty special: on Fridays from 5 to 10 p.m., have all you can eat mussels and fries, including salad and dessert, for $25. That sounds like a deal!

They are still trying to get their liquor license, hence the BYOB.
