Twitter Facebook Email Print Frank Sinatra School of the Arts How great would it be to learn that you’ve got a substitute teacher at the end of the school year… and then it turns out to be not one but two superstars— Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett! Well, these two musicians, currently working together on a jazz album, showed up to Frank Sinatra High School of the Arts (inside the Kaufman Arts District) on the final day of class, giving a master class in the school’s concert hall (which is a pretty sweet space). It was a total surprise to most of the students there. The kids got to enjoy hearing them discuss topics “ranging from jazz music to the nature of creativity.” We can only imagine how fascinating that was. The two musicians even danced slowly together while singing “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love,” and answered the students’ questions. What a thrill! The event ended with the student choirs giving a performance, of Bennett’s “Smile” and Gaga’s “Applause.” Congrats, students, on a epic end to the school year!
