Let’s keep our fingers crossed they find something great in Astoria. Landlord disputes are the worst!

**UPDATE. We just saw this on their Facebook page:

Wow- so much to digest. Brothels? A Save Enigma Kickstarter? It seems things are a bit more complicated than we thought.

Michelle, it’s much like the place itself: all over the place and disorganized. I love their passion for all things geeky, but they really could use some help with their business planning.

This is sad; I really wanted to see this place do well, but the few times I did go in to visit, the place didn’t feel like it was a business and was more of place to hang out. Bookstores should be filled to the brim with books and if you are a specialty bookstore, you’d better have a really good selection of that genre with lots of things that are hard to find elsewhere to bring people in. I hope they reopen and reinvent themselves!
