I was away on the west coast for a week and when I came back, I noticed this update on the Bareburger Facebook page: ATTENTION DITMARS BARES: Our Ditmars location will reopen at 12pm TODAY. Thank you for your patience! We now have a new full bar menu and cocktails. Looking forward to welcoming everyone back. Come cheers to the weekend with us! I was so impressed with the new offerings when the bar came to the 31st Ave location, I knew I had to check out the Ditmars Bareburger, so I headed there for lunch. I think the new bar looks awesome and ties the whole space together. They were just serving mixed drinks at the time, expecting their slush machine to arrive not long after. I’m still pretty into that Strawberry Fields slush and can’t wait to have one here in Ditmars. I also gave a try to the new lettuce option for burgers—before they’d wrap your burger in lettuce and now they put it on a large lettuce leaf. You can totally wrap it up yourself, or eat it with a knife and fork, which works fine. I also noticed that fantastic ice cream sandwiches on the menu, too, which is also very exciting. Glad to welcome a new bar to the Ditmars area!
