The familiar blue box sign, a Fatty’s trademark look.

At Fatty’s 2.0, the menu and staff is recognizable from the original. The space has more elbow room as well as more tables, and the space is divided by the wall of speakers between the sunny (at least in the daytime) Caribbean flavored bar area and a darker back section.

The bar is funkier, decorated with cigar boxes, and now features draft beer (including SingleCut) straight from Fernando’s microphone-handled taps. Tables match the bright blue of the walls, and are painted with the shape of Caribbean islands.

There will be a back yard outdoor area, but Fernando and Sue need to take a little break before getting the back public-ready.

Here are some scenes from brunch earlier today. All photos by Megan Green.
