As you’ll see that many restaurants and cafes may be closed tomorrow in observance of Thanksgiving, they’ll be reopening on Friday and some will serve brunch. Stop in at The Queens Kickshaw, Sugarfreak, Astor Bake Shop, Omonia Cafe and others. The eating frenzy doesn’t stop after Thanksgiving, as seven eateries in LIC have banded together to create the Leftovers for Leftovers event on Saturday. Fun! The straightforwardly delicious Market Burger at LIC Market. Also on Saturday, enjoy more brunch and other festive post-Thanksgiving activities at LIC Market (brunch starts at 10:00 a.m.) and a special Potluck and Open Stage event at Waltz Astoria that starts at 7:00 p.m. If you’d like to take it easy after Thanksgiving and eat light and healthy, here are a few of my healthy recipe suggestions.
