The inside looks great and has that speakeasy, nostalgic vibe, with marble counters, wood paneling, serious looking barmen in bowties :) The works! We heart its old fashioned feel and the homage it pays to old Astoria, yet it appeals to all ages. Even though their kitchen isn’t fully open at this time, they have a rich offering of fresh oysters that looked great. In fact, we were impressed with them so much that we interviewed one of their staff members to give us more insight about the bivalves and about Mar’s in general.
