Green Tea Flavored American Sweets at Family Market

When I caught the Friday tweet by @tastoriaqueens about the Green Tea filled “soft” Oreos she found at Family Market, I knew I had to check it out for myself.

She went on to tweet about more green tea sweets – Nestlé Crunch bars.

I am a big fan of American sweets getting the Japanese green tea treatment, as I think it’s brilliant and very tasty. I am a HUGE fan of green tea Kit Kats, which apparently Family Market carries from time to time.

On Saturday I headed south to Broadway to investigate this green tea candy and cookie action. I saw bags of both the Oreos and Crunch bars – score! Sue was kind enough to gift me half the bag of Oreos she had purchased during the week (“They’re addictive! Take them off my hands!”) and I bought the bag of Nestlé crunch bars; those are sitting comfortably in my freezer, but the Oreos are gone, gone, gone. These soft Oreos are pretty amazing little chocolate treats, and I can see how one could eat them one after the other in quick succession.

The Oreos and Nestlé Crunch bars are all individually wrapped.

So, if you are a green tea flavored sweets person like I am, head on over to Family Market and pick up some Oreos or Nestlé Crunch Bars right quick!

I’ve had the green tea Kit Kats from there before and they are AMAZING. I need to get back there immediately!!!
