An update on the Alobar sidewalk seating news – it’s still a no go, as the owners are getting some tough responses from the local community board, but they’re still trying.  We heart Alobar and would love to see them expand their seating to offer more outdoor options.  We encourage you to lend your support to this worthy cause by advocating on their behalf to Community Board 2.  You can email qn02@cb.nyc.gov or Chairman Pat O’ Brien at patobriencb2@aol.com – and hopefully enjoy their delicious fare outside, such as this beautiful fried chicken.
