What we saw when we entered the LIC Flea
Well, we made it out to the LIC Flea on its inaugural day! It was a very popular destination – lots and lots and lots of people. And it was a beautiful day for the Flea, too – plenty of sunshine and warmth, with enough heat to make the lemonade, iced coffee, and ice cream stalls to be very popular. And there was a DJ.
Here are some of the things we saw at the event – including a lot of edibles!

Looking through the fence at the action inside

Just outside the Flea – was saw a number of people with petitions and flyers. This will likely be a popular place for that sort of outreach.
