Snowy Times in Astoria Park Can you believe that less that two months ago, Astoria Park was covered in snow? Well, today is another story – simply gorgeous weather, with bright blue skies, a little bit of a breeze, and mild temperatures. I took a walk to Astoria Park today and wanted to share some of the photos I took. This fantastic pink dogwood is on 23rd Ave, about five houses east of 21st Street. I look forward to its blooms every year. The tops of a nearby apartment building, plus some rays of light. There are a bunch of these flowering shrubs around the edge of the Great Lawn in Astoria Park. The Hell Gate Bridge peeking through the white flowers. The Hell Gate Bridge in all its glory.
