We’re back with another tasty bite, via Bradley Hawks of Amuse * Bouche  fame. This edition features a seriously intriguing shumai from JJ’s (the runner up for Best Sushi Bar in our Best of Astoria 2013).

JJ’s is known for their edamame potstickers, but have you tried their whimsical take on shumai? These curly-headed little dumplings are actually golf-ball sized tender chicken and crab meatballs rolled in shredded pasta, served with a ginger dipping sauce.
