Twitter Facebook Email Print On Zagat I noticed they had a short bit about Gordon Ramsay and the 5 things he thinks everyone should keep in their fridge. First, for the record, here they are (his reasoning is viewable here): 1. Pink champagne 2. Half a dozen eggs 3. Creme fraiche 4. Block of aged Parmesan 5. Spicy hummus I, for one, always have eggs in my fridge (usually multiple dozen – we eat a lot of eggs); sometimes I have a block of aged Parm but most often I get it ground up at Rosario’s (I do buy Parmigiano-Reggiano, nom). But I don’t keep spicy hummus, creme fraiche, and pink champagne in my fridge. And where can you get pink champagne anyway? For the record – I do love spicy hummus (Sabra!). My list would look more like this: 1. Eggs 2. Yogurt (I prefer mine strained) 3. Hot sauce 4. Bacon 5. Lemons What would be on your list of five things everyone should keep in their fridge? I also usually have milk in there. I’ve been wanting to try to make my own almond milk for a while now. Reply mackenzi March 14th, 2013 I love this! Mine would be: 1. Parmesan 2. Almond milk 3.
