Twitter Facebook Email Print Astoria Park Shoreline - clean after a Shoreline Cleanup A while back , we told you about a series of neighborhood listening sessions about the Astoria/LIC waterfront, organized by Green Shores and the Trust for Public Land. The sessions were really successful and provided the organizers with lots of excellent information, straight from local residents. In total there were, “seven neighborhood listening sessions and two area-wide brainstorming sessions, generating more than a thousand comments, ideas and solutions for creating a more connected, useful and beautiful waterfront.” Impressive! Well, this information was sorted through and put together, resulting in the Waterfront Vision Plan for Astoria & Long Island City, Queens. Very exciting. And there’s a party planned for its release, to which you are invited! Please join your neighbors at the Noguchi Museum for a wine & cheese reception to celebrate.
