Twitter Facebook Email Print The penultimate day of this 12 day promotion brings with it a great prize from one of our favorite watering holes, Sweet Afton. Also known as “The Astoria Local,” Sweet Afton is famous for their laid back, speak-easy vibe and the craftiest cocktail menu in town. The loyal staff takes pride in making sure that every patron is treated like a good friend and that certainly keeps most Astorians coming back each and every weekend. Today’s giveaway is a brunch for 2 (including drinks) at Sweet Afton – which if you’re already a fan, you know what a sweet deal it is. Just to give you a taste of what you can expect, Sweet Afton’s Breakfast Burger is my favorite brunch menu item that brings hearty breakfast food to another level. In addition to the pristine LaFrieda patty, lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles, it’s also topped with a fried egg. More ethnic dishes such as an Irish Breakfast Roll or a Grilled Cheese with Irish Bacon are some of the other ways Sweet Afton’s brunch stands out. To enter, comment on this post and share with us your favorite bar food. A winner will be chosen at random on Thursday morning, so stay tuned – and make sure you provide us with your email, so we can contact you.
