Today we’re thrilled to announce we’re the sponsor of The Sparrow Film Project, a community driven filmmaking competition that challenges amateurs and professionals alike to create a three minute film in three weeks with a unique assignment drawn at random. We’re also excited to share we’re giving away two tickets to their awards gala, happening Thursday, June 11th at Museum of the Moving Image. This red carpet event will showcase select entries from the most recent round of competition and includes food, drinks, and live entertainment. Doors open at 7:30pm with a reception in the lobby, followed by the screening in the Theatre starting promptly at 8:00. For those who’d prefer not to chance it, tickets are available online for $65 and should be purchased in advance.

It’s a wonderful project and I’m so excited to see this year’s films! I watched the films from the previous years, but I would love to watch this year’s films on the big screen. It’s magical!

Can’t wait to walk the red carpet again. Not for doing anything special; I just like carpet.
