SUMMARY:Thanksgiving Dinner with Lynn's NYC Supper Club
DESCRIPTION:My Supper Club is located inside my small but homey Astoria\, NY apartment. My intimate events typically have anywhere from 5-9 attendees\, which allows for all attendees to be personally welcomed\, introduced\, and made to be a part of the overall conversation. \nFollowing is the menu\, which may change\, but only very slightly: \n(everything served Buffet-style): \n – Turkey with Homemade Gravy Sauce (NOTE: because I live alone\, I am unable to prepare a whole entire turkey. I tried it once\, and found it very difficult to physically manage without assistance. ;-) Instead\, I will purchase and cook turkey parts…breast and hopefully legs…) \n – Baked Mashed Potato Dish with Sour Cream and Topped with Golden Bread Crumbs \n – Baked Kabocha Squash \n – Bread Stuffing \n – Whole Cranberry Sauce with Orange Essence \n – Green Bean Salad \n – Brussel Sprouts with Toasted Hazelnut and Pancetta \n – Dinner Rolls \n Beverage: Warm Spiced Apple Cider (those who desire beer or wine should feel welcome to bring their own to the dinner\, though I will have a limited amount on-hand to offer) \nDessert TBD: Platter of Various Cheeses\, Membrillo (Quince Paste)\, Whole Walnuts\, Sliced Pear and Apple AND/OR a Pumpkin Pie AND/OR a Spiced Cake \nAfter-Dinner Beverage: Along with the Dessert I will have Various Digestives to Offer\, Such as Grand Marnier\, Ice Wine and Cream Sherry \nNOTE: Host has Two Cats but keeps home impeccably clean. Venue is located in a 3rd floor walkup apartment (no elevator) \n
