SUMMARY:Sunday Summer Farm Stand
DESCRIPTION:We could say\, “we knew them when…” \nAstoria’s Hellgate Farm started out as a backyard garden on one-tenth of an acre of land behind Rob McGrath’s home. Today\, they’ve partnered with property owners throughout the neighborhood and Long Island City to turn underutilized backyards and rooftops into lush\, valuable garden space. \nJoin us on summer Sundays starting on July 31st\, from 4-6pm\, for a pop-up farm stand with produce grown in Astoria. \nProduce will change from week-to-week as the season progresses. \nAll are welcome to this pay-as-you-go event. \n
