SUMMARY:NYRR Flushing Meadow Summer Classic
DESCRIPTION:More than just a road race\, this brand new 5k is also a celebration and a fundraiser for NYRR’s youth and community programs. Not only does your $10 entry fee land you a spot on the start line\, the proceeds from this race will help fund youth and community running and walking events — like our NYRR Open Runs — all over the city and beyond. \n*Please note – this is for NYRR members only. The entry fee is $10 in all categories\, and there are no T-shirts\, no physical awards (award winners will be listed on our website as usual)\, and no post-race activities. The race is timed and scored\, but it is not a marathon qualifier and it has a reduced field size. \n
