SUMMARY:Newtown Literary Book Trivia Night!
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to invite you to Newtown Literary Book Trivia Night\, our annual fall fundraiser. The proceeds from this event will go toward running our annual writing contest for Queens kids and teens\, a new #QueensWrites Podcast (debuting in January 2018)\, and a series of four FREE professional development panels in 2018. \nThe fun starts at 7 p.m. on November 15 at Break Bar and Billiards in Astoria. Bring a team\, or come on your own and we’ll find you new friends to play trivia with. Teams are 4-6 people and there will be a handful of rounds of book trivia on international literature\, books that were movies\, poetry\, and the “For Dummies” series . . . plus more! \nThere’s a prize package for the winning team\, plus a raffle! You could win BOOKS\, BOOKS\, and more BOOKS\, plus gift cards to great Queens small businesses\, movie and museum passes\, editing services\, and more! \nBut\, what you really get out of this event is time with your local literary community and the good feels from supporting Newtown Literary and our FREE programs. \nFor more information and to buy tickets (discounts for buying your tickets before the event): http://www.newtownliterary.org/btn2017 \n
