For my next event\, I’m offering up a Greek dinner menu\, incorporating recipes from my Greek aunt! \n+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ \nSalad of Watermelon\, Feta\, Tomato\, Red Onion and Kalamata Olive \nSpanakopita\, aka Spinach Pie – made using my aunt’s recipe\, this contains four different types of feta cheese\, and multiple layers of delicate phyllo dough. (Mary Gallagher\, life-long resident of Ditmars/Steinway\, declared my spanakopita to be the ‘best she’d ever had in her life!’ ;-) \nSlices of Orange with Homemade Tapenade and Fennel Seed \nGrapes Leaves Stuffed with Rice\, Tomato Sauce and Ground Beef\, served with Tzatziki and Sauteed Vegetables \nGreek Cookies\, coffee/tea\, followed by a shot of ‘Mastiha’ \nIf the weather is nice\, we can enjoy the Mastiha up on my rooftop\, and enjoy views of Manhattan and planes making their descent to LGA!! \n
