The remnants of two European enclaves on the Upper East Side will be explored on this tour, which includes some interesting architecture, churches and parks, and some details on the brand-new 2nd Avenue Subway.
Meet up: At the new entrance for the 2nd Avenue Subway (Q) on the east side of 2nd Avenue between East 83rd and East 84th Streets.
Fee: $15 Greater Astoria Historical Society; $20 all others.
All tours run approximately 2 to 2.5 hours unless noted.
