All are invited to Flick & Jazz in the Garden 2017, an annual (and affordable!) family-friendly evening at Sunnyside Gardens Park featuring live jazz, vintage cartoons, a silent film from Charlie Chaplin, and arts/crafts geared especially for kids.
Bring a blanket or low chair(s) and get ready for a magical evening of film and jazz under the stars.

When: Saturday, September 16, 2017 (rain date: September 17, 2017), 5-9pm ● 5pm — doors open/Arts & crafts ● 5:30pm — music begins ● 7:30pm (sunset) — cartoons & film program begin
Featuring: ● Live jazz music by Liftoff Brass Band (New Orleans style music) & other TBD ● Vintage cartoons & movies: Betty Boop, Popeye, Looney Tunes & fairy tale-themed cartoons, followed by Charlie Chaplin’s classic short The Rink ● Drinks, popcorn, and other treats will be sold, e.g., Stumptown cold brew from Sunnyside’s Brookside Market ● Pizza provided courtesy of Jimmy’s Pizzeria, a popular pizzeria located on 41-10 49th St, Sunnyside, NY 11104
