BWAC’s ‘UnPlugged in Red Hook’ concert series is held in its 25,000 square foot Civil War-era gallery on the piers in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
In addition to the concert series are 3 art shows currently on exhibit. BWAC’s the Annual Spring Pier show (in its 24th year with 200 members exhibiting) has this year the theme of ‘Roode Hoek’, a celebration of Red Hook’s Dutch past leading up its multicultural present. ‘Wide Open 7’, a national competition selected by Metropolitan Museum assistant curator, Beth Saunders, is on exhibit, as well as ‘Recycle’, a show juried by Harriet Taub of NYC’s Materials for the Arts.
The art exhibits are open WEEKENDS ONLY 1 – 6pm, through June 12.
