National Poetry Month, each April, is a celebration of poetry introduced in 1996 and organized by The Academy of American Poets as a way to increase awareness and appreciation of poetry in the United States. We have again invited Queens, New York’s Poet Laureate (2015-’18) Maria Lisella to join us, in addition to a poetry open mic. Come read your work, &/or that of your favorite poet!
