It is no secret that I am a big fan of the products at The Little Soap Shop. Made with all natural ingredients, they feel wonderful on the bod and smell great. I’m a regular there when it comes to soaps, lotions, and candles especially. In fact, I just unwrapped a bar of Thyme Garden soap this morning – it’s one of my favorites and I never get tired of its beautiful aroma.

As I wrote last year around this time (and it still holds true):

I encourage you all to stop by The Little Soap Shop to check it out (follow them on Facebook, too).  Soaps are made from natural products, and along with the lotions there are no parabens or pthalates to be seen.  The soy candles are also wonderful, both in their beautiful scents and their lack of toxins – did you know that most candles are made from petroleum products, so by choosing soy (or beeswax, honestly) you will be kinder to the air quality inside your home?

So for this giveaway, we are offering a selection of soaps and a loofah from The Little Soap Shop. Just tell us what your favorite scent is when it comes to personal care products – is it citrusy? Musky? Fruity? Tell all!

We’ll pick a winner at random on Monday 12/19, so you have a nice long time to enter. We look forward to reading your comments!

I like anything with an evergreen, pine smell; those are my fave. I also like eucalyptus and peppermint, oh and clove to, clove is great.

Bella

Anything tropical-y. If I can close my eyes and see myself near the ocean, it’s the scent for me!

Stephanie

I love vanilla, it reminds me of baking and I love smelling like a comfort food all day :)

I am more of a clean scents kind of person. I like clean linen, cotton, Bounce sheets (yes the laundry kind), and some light citrus. The citrus just reminds me of my wife, so that is probably the connection.

I love the Little Soap Shop! Last time I went in, I was looking for a lotion to go with my shower gel in Sandalwood Vanilla. She didn’t have any, but made me some on the spot, and I got to choose the amount of scent added. She was so sweet! It smells divine. I am partial to sweet or musky smelling things.

What a lovely & generous giveaway .. thank you so much. I tend to look for lavender … it’s so calming. When I use body products that smell of lavender, I become relaxed and luxuriate in what becomes, for me, a spa treatment. Thanks, again!

I love a good musky scent, or anything that is really natural smelling. Cookie candy chocolate bar smelling things freak me out.

Great giveaway!

I love scents that nature intended such as citrus in the Summer & Musky Sandalwoods in the Winter. Anything too sweet it overwhelming.

Generally stay away from anything too fruity. I like something lightly flowery.

The Little Soap Shop is great (and so is the super-friendly and welcoming owner). Hard to choose, but I think my favorite is her Egyptian Chamomile.

Laura

I love The Little Soap Shop. They are always warm and welcoming and have wonderful products. I’m all about citrus — in fact, The Little Soap Shop’s Citrus Blast shower gel is based on a request I made!

Steph

I also tend to change my scents up depending on the season. In the summer, I tend to crave coconut or anything that reminds me of the beach. In winter, I always reach for something vanilla or brown sugar.

So excited for this giveaway! 2011 was the year that my husband and I tossed all of our toxic products that were full of parabens and synthetic fragrances. Since we’ve started, I’ve become obsessed with handmade soap bars and I buy one at every street festival I wander through. I haven’t yet visited The Little Soap Shop, but I’m dying to try their bars. My favorite scents are based on the season. In the summer I love citrusy and coconut-y scents, but in the winter it has to be warm and spicy!
