The Rhinoceros Collective is Trumpeting the message of Eugene Ionesco’s absurdist masterpiece RHINOCEROS in vibrant public art performances beginning the summer of 2017. The Collective pays tribute to Ionesco’s cautionary tale of fascism,originally set in 20th century France, with the New York Premiere of a fresh adaptation by director, playwright and scholar Wesley Savick. Directed by Nate Speare and featuring puppetry, movement and original music,contemporary audiences are invited to reflect on the provocative social parallels emerging today in 21st century America.
