Astoria Arrivals- Tea and Milk Is Open on 34th Avenue We’ve heard from the fine folks behind Tea and Milk, the wonderful tea/bubble tea vendor who has been at the Astoria and LIC Fleas, and they’ve confirmed with us that they have the lease to a new brick and mortar location in Astoria! It’s very exciting to think that they’ll be opening up a permanent location here in the neighborhood. I can almost taste the best taro milk tea out there, mmm… They plan to reveal their new location over time through social media posts, so head keep tabs on their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feeds for clues (we know the location but have promised not to spoil it for the guys). How many bubble teas do they need to sell in order to pay 10k rent? I think it’s to supplement their income… I have had their tea there and it’s just okay. Has anyone been there? It kinda seemed odd to me during the transition when they were serving bubble tea along with Shabu Shabu. I honestly don’t know if any of these places are up to par with these guys in the article only because I have tried almost everything they offer on their flea market menus.
