Have you always wanted to learn to dance? Or are you looking for a place to show off your moves, and make friends in the process?
Salsa in Queens is a social dance studio offering salsa and bachata lessons seven days a week. In order to get us into a groove on Day 4 of 12 Days of Giveaways, they’re giving away 1 Group Class for 2 people!
Salsa in Queens is owned by Queens resident Jean Franco Vergaray. Jean Franco not only teaches but is leading a new latin movement in Astoria, Queens, partnering with local business such as Sek’end Sun to organize dance socials for the community.
In addition to salsa and bachata lessons, they offer special monthly workshops. These classes span from latin to hip hop, from cha-cha to kizomba, and more. Children’s programs are also available, because what’s better than family salsa parties?!
Salsa in Queens will be celebrating it’s second anniversary at Fusion Lounge on Sunday, January 20th from 8pm-2am with live performances, dancing, amazing latin music and specialty drinks.
