Passage Irish Bar Join us for our first ever Halloween Pumpkin Smashing Party on Saturday September 27th. Dance like Michael Jackson with music by DJ Ronan Kerr or Smash Pumpkins in the Parlour like Billy Corgan. Ever have evil thoughts about smashing one of those big pumpkins you see in every store? Live your Halloween fantasy here at Passage. In conjunction with local charities it’s five bucks to smash a five pound pumpkin however you see fit. Our Parlour will be transformed into a Pumpkin Horror Show. Smashing Pumpkins Music blasting? Check. Plastic on the walls ala American Psycho? Check. Pumpkin carcasses everywhere? Check. The Ditty Grab your creepiest, weirdest, most insane costume and head over to The Ditty for their 3rd annual Halloween Bash on Saturday, October 27th. DJ starts at 9pm and goes until they’re done. Themed drink specials and an unnecessary amount of decorations. Don’t forget about the fog machine! As always, the kitchen is open until last call. Oliver’s Astoria For an extra treat for those in costume on October 27 and October 31, Oliver’s Astoria on Broadway will be featuring $5 pumpkin beers and select shots. The Bonnie The Bonnie will be hosting an 80s-themed Halloween party on Saturday October 27 from 5pm to 4am, with spooky cocktail specials, rad 80s music and a totally bodacious costume contest. Fifth Hammer Trading in creepiness for cuteness, Fifth Hammer in LIC will be having a DOG HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST on Sunday, October 28 at 3-4pm. Bring your dudded pups or just show up to gush over the cuteness. Raven’s Head Public House Raven’s Head is getting into the Halloween spirit with three separate events! On Saturday, October 27, come by from 10pm-4am for a Halloween party with a DJ, drink specials, and a costume contest with prizes. The following day, October 28, keep the party going with a Post Boos Brunch from 11am-5pm. If you arrive dressed in your costume, you’ll get a discount from your brunch bill! Astoria Family Halloween Parade Need a little something family friendly to do with the kids? The 13th annual Astoria Family Halloween Parade is just the thing. The parade will starts at 12pm from Ditmars & 31st Street, heading to the Great Lawn at Astoria Park. Central Astoria is throwing an after-party on the lawn with crafts and activities galore! Harvest Festival + Château le Woof The festivities at Socrates Sculpture Park, and their neighbors, Chateau le Woof are not to be missed!
