Party Preview: Best of Astoria Bash 2018

It’s time for the fifth annual Best Of Astoria Bash, where we announce the 2018 Best of Astoria winners! Find out what Astorians selected as best restaurant, brunch, bar, and the best new arrival of 2017! Get your tickets here.

The Best of Astoria Bash is all about coming together as a community and celebrating hard-working businesses, so it made perfect sense that this year we would take our #bestofastoria party over to 30th Avenue. We’ll be celebrating with our friends at Katch Astoria on Thursday, April 26th. Party kicks off at 7:00 pm.

We are pumped to see you; our readers, small business community leaders, and all of our Best of Astoria nominees! We wanted to share an updated preview of the good food, good booze, and all the fun in store for ticket holders.

This year we are offering 2 different ticket levels*, find the one that works best for you. ALL TICKET levels can enjoy a buffet dinner*, unlimited house red and white wine, and unlimited select beers.

We’re also feeling very sexy about our party, because Sexy Batch Baking Company will be back to delight our guests with a fully stocked Cookie Bar. Nieves will be bringing several new varieties, so you’ll want to stop by and try them all!

When we found at the Ample Hills would be moving to the neighborhood later this summer, we wanted to invite them over for some Best of Astoria fun. They’ll be there passing out scoops of Ooey Gooey Butter Cake and Chocolate Milk & Cookies. Two scoops please! We’re also thrilled to have the one, the only Anita Buffem, acting as our Mistress of Ceremonies, she’s been with us since the very beginning.

Food and entertainment isn’t all we’ve got! This year the Salt & Bone Smokehouse team put together an awesome tote bag that will be stuffed with great items from our friends all over town. Remember if you want the primo swag, get that VIP ticket.
