Two of the featured pieces being sold are the hand-painted “under the sea” themed desk and bed from VEIL’D, pictured above.

In honor of the tradition of spring cleaning, APAC is hosting its first ever rummage sale later this month. This is an excellent opportunity to grab a piece of APAC’s 17-year history. And you better believe that deals will be had.

So what will you find at the rummage sale, exactly? All sorts of things you’d imagine that go along with APAC’s strong history of theatre production. There’s functional and decorative props, costumes and set pieces from their productions—think furniture, artificial foliage, glasses and dishware, housewares, books, lamps, home decor, fabric and trimmings, and other arts and crafts supplies. Many can be used as-is or repurposed.

And if deals aren’t enough, know that all proceeds from the sale will support APAC’s ongoing mission as one of the premier organizations in the borough dedicated to producing and supporting the performing arts in Astoria and Western Queens.

So head to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church (30-44 Crescent Street in Astoria), their current performance space, on Saturday, February 17 from 10am-4pm for the APAC rummage sale. See you there!
